WARRANTY
1. This warranty is valid in all countries where the product is sold through authorised dealers.
2. The warranty relates to the non-conformity of wooden floors and parquets and extends over a period of 15 years starting from the date of your purchase.
3. The warranty will only apply provided you completed and returned to N.V. EURO4 within one month's time following the day on which the flooring was laid the check list enclosed with the product (the list can also be downloaded from our website).
4. Any complaint must be notified in writing to N.V. EURO4, together with the original and dated purchase invoice, containing all particulars of the dealer.
5. All complaints must be notified within 14 days following the discovery of the defect.
6. N.V. EURO4 shall always be entitled to verify or to arrange for the verification of the grounds for complaint on the premises and investigate the cause or origin of the problem.
7. N.V. EURO4 may decide at its own discretion whether or not the defects to the floor may me remedied on site. If this is possible, the repair or restoration work will be carried out according to the instructions and for the account of N.V. EURO4. If the situation cannot be remedied on site, materials shall be supplied in sufficient quantity to replace the flooring or such parts that need to be repaired or restored.
8. Under the terms of this warranty the extent of N.V. EURO4's obligation will be limited to the supply of new wooden floor elements. Consequential or incidental damage or additional expenses (e.g. for the removal of flooring material, the laying of new flooring and all proximate expenses) are not included in the warranty. N.V. EURO4 cannot be held liable for any such costs and disbursements.
9. Where the replacement of defective goods is awarded under the warranty but the original product is no longer available, an equivalent product that matches the unaffected parts may be provided.
10. The warranty period can under no circumstances be extended and will remain unchanged even if a valid complaint was registered during its term of validity.
11. Damage resulting from any of following causes or circum¬stances is excluded from the warranty:
- the wood was not transported or stored in accordance with N.V. EURO4's official instructions*
- the flooring was not laid in accordance with N.V. EURO4's official instructions*
- the defects of the wood were apparent before the floor was laid
- structural or colouring disparities that are consistent with and within the standards of the production of wooden floors
- ordinary wear and tear of varnish coats or discolourations due to sunlight
- the wooden floor was repaired or modified without N.V. EURO4's consent in writing
- the wooden floor was repaired or treated by workmen without the required qualifications
- the wooden floor was not cleaned and treated in accordance with N.V. EURO4's official use and preservation instructions*
